The Book of Jade

Travel through time in The Book of Jade, the third book of Branches of Time, where we’ll follow Skye Kent’s wild, untamed spirit as she searches for new adventures. Skye has a knack for getting herself into trouble, but she doesn’t shy away from doing whatever has to be done to solve her predicaments. In this case, her newly found ability of time travel is what she resorts to in order to get herself out of yet another sticky situation.
All goes well, until she meets a handsome, mysterious, stranger, Remington Hart, in 1927, who, unbeknownst to her, has been sent to track her down and take her back to her rightful year of 2051. After several encounters with Remington in 1927 where Skye learned what it was like to be a carefree, wealthy flapper, she found herself wildly attracted to a man she knew she could never have because she believed he belonged in an era different from her own. When her time has come to an end in the roaring twenties and she must return to 1907 where she had traveled from, she has no idea the man of her dreams has followed her there, too. As Rem watched her from the shadows, waiting for his chance to make a capture, he begins to fall in love from afar. When Skye learns what his mission is, she flees to Taiwan in 1967 to divert his attention away from her and her family.
Will Remington Hart catch his prey and forcefully return her to the future? Or will he become so drawn to the lovely Skye Kent that his view of the restrictive world he has come from will begin to change?
